Jelly Bean Turns 8!

Jelly Bean turned 8 in mid December. I can hardly believe that it has been 8 whole years since she was born. She loves American Girl, reading, swimming, and anything that her sister likes OR anything that might annoy her sister.

Also, in our church, children can get baptized and confirmed when they are 8, and Ellie was baptized a few days after her birthday.

Super wanted to have a fire fighter birthday at a local park that has little roads and signs and trikes to ride. Problem was, he had had a fire fighter party at this park when he was 3. He looked at me and said "Please?" and I figured, well, why not? So that is what we did. Here are some pictures from his 5th birthday party.

You can't really tell in this picture, but we had to bail on the party about 2 minutes after this picture was taken. It got very windy and was pouring down rain. Thankfully, the bad weather held off until the very end of the party though!

You say it's your birthday . . .

It's my birthday too. Well, not MY birthday. I have two children who have birthdays at the end of September. To be more precise, 4 days apart from each other. Flower turned a whole decade, and Super is a whole hand now. I can't believe it. Seriously. Here are some pictures from Flower's Celebration.

Flower had a sleepover with 4 of her friends. I was terrified that it would be screaming and giggling all night, but I shouldn't have worried. Oh, there was plenty of screaming and giggling, but they were all fast asleep by 11:30 pm.
